The food is absolutely fantastic and so is Solomon, our waiter. I brought my mom here from Texas because she missed good smoked bbq and Roasted Breadfruit can go head to head with any BBQ in Texas. A++++++++++++++++++++

The food and natural juices at The Roasted Breadfruit Smokehouse are exceptional! Now this is good BBQ. Everything we had: the succulent chicken, the juicy brisket, the savory fried breadfruit, fragrant coconut rice, & refreshing sorrel was a hit! The sauces are an added bonus that gives the dishes oomph but it’s not necessary in order to enjoy the meal. The meat can stand on it’s own. The sweet & sorrel sauce and the scotch bonnet sauce were my absolute favorites. My husband loved the jerk BBQ sauce. I can’t wait to come back! Having a BBQ restaurant w/ a Caribbean flair of this caliber is a win for Jefferson and for NJ. I can’t wait to come back! Pete Genovese can add this one to his list.
